FAQ

Answers about our massage chairs, product specifications, delivery, warranty coverage, and choosing the right model for your space.

ChairWellness is a specialty retailer of massage chairs. We select the models we carry and publish detailed information for each one — specifications, dimensions, roller systems, programs, warranty terms, and delivery options — so you can compare products before you buy. If you would like help narrowing down a model, our support team is happy to assist.
The right chair depends on your space, budget, and the features you care about most — such as roller type, body scanning, zero-gravity recline, foot massage, and heat. Start on our Massage Chairs collection page and use the filters and comparison tool, then open the product pages for the models that interest you. Each page lists specifications and available options. If you would like guidance, contact our support team.
Longevity depends on the model, how frequently it is used, and how well it is maintained. Follow the care and maintenance instructions in your product manual. Warranty coverage — including the coverage period and what is included — is stated on each product page and in the warranty documentation supplied with your chair. We do not guarantee a specific service life.
Upright and reclined dimensions for each chair are listed on its product page under Specifications. Before ordering, measure your doorways, hallways, stairways, elevator (if applicable), and the room where the chair will be used, and check the wall clearance required for a full recline. Some models use a space-saving recline mechanism — check the individual product page to confirm whether a specific model has this feature. If you are unsure, contact support before placing your order.
In-person viewing options vary by location and are not available for every model. Contact our support team and we will let you know what options, if any, are currently available near you. Each product page also includes detailed specifications, photographs, and — where available — video walkthroughs so you can evaluate a chair remotely.
After payment is received and any required verification is complete, most in-stock orders are processed within 1–5 business days. The shipping method depends on the product: smaller items generally ship by standard parcel carrier, while massage chairs and other oversized items typically ship by freight.

Standard freight delivery is curbside/threshold delivery. It does not automatically include indoor placement, stair carrying, assembly, installation, or removal of packaging. White-glove or enhanced delivery is available only for qualifying products and destinations, and it is included only when it is specifically identified on the product page, order confirmation, or at checkout.

Shipping options and any applicable charges are shown on the product page and at checkout before you complete your purchase. Full details are in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Processing typically takes 1–5 business days for in-stock orders. After the order ships, standard products generally arrive within 3–10 business days, and massage chairs and other oversized freight items generally arrive within approximately 5–14 business days. White-glove deliveries are appointment-based and are scheduled directly with the carrier.

These ranges are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates, and may vary due to carrier schedules, destination, weather, holidays, inventory changes, and appointment availability. The most specific estimate available for a given product is the one shown on its product page. See our Shipping & Delivery Policy for full details.
Country of origin varies by brand and model. Refer to the Specifications section of the individual product page, or contact our support team, for the manufacturing origin of a specific chair.
Warranty terms vary by brand and model. The applicable warranty — including the coverage period and which components are covered (for example, frame, parts, or labor) — is stated on the product page for each chair and in the warranty documentation included with your order. Extended warranty options, when offered, are presented at the time of purchase. If you need help with a warranty claim, contact our support team.
Returns are governed by our Return Policy, which is available on our Returns page and is linked at checkout. Please review it before ordering, as return windows, condition requirements, and any restocking or return-shipping charges can vary by product. To begin a return, contact our support team.
Most massage chairs require some assembly, typically attaching the armrests, footrest, and/or backrest. Assembly instructions are included with the chair, and many models have step-by-step assembly videos linked from their product pages. Most customers complete assembly in roughly 20 to 30 minutes, and we recommend having a second person available to help move the chair, as these units are heavy.

If you would prefer not to assemble the chair yourself, white-glove delivery with assembly may be available for qualifying products and destinations. If it is available for your order, it will be shown as an option on the product page or at checkout.
Where available, assembly, operating, and maintenance videos are linked from the individual product page for each chair. If a video is not available for your model, contact our support team and we will assist you directly.
Remotes vary by model and by the programs each chair offers. The product page for your chair describes the remote and its controls, and where available a walkthrough video is linked there as well. If you need help using the remote for your specific model, contact support.
Available colors vary by model. The product page for each chair lists the color options currently offered for that specific model.
We suggest starting with shorter sessions at a lower intensity and gradually increasing as you become familiar with the chair and your own preferences. Your product manual includes usage guidance for your specific model. Stop using the chair if you experience discomfort. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, have an implanted device such as a pacemaker, or are otherwise unsure whether massage is appropriate for you, consult a qualified healthcare professional before use.
Discomfort is often related to session length, intensity, or roller depth. Try a shorter session, reduce the airbag pressure, lower the roller intensity on models that support it, or turn off the foot rollers. You can adjust length, depth, and intensity in the manual modes on your remote.

If discomfort continues, stop using the chair and consult a qualified healthcare professional before resuming use. Massage chairs are not intended to treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
On most models, you can adjust the airbag pressure in the manual settings. Some models also allow you to adjust roller depth and intensity. Check your model's product page and manual for the specific controls available on your chair.
Massage chairs are intended primarily for adult use. Follow the age, weight, and supervision guidance provided in your product manual. Children should not use the chair without adult supervision. If your manual does not address your specific situation, contact our support team before allowing use.
Each model combines a different roller system, program set, body-scanning capability, recline mechanism, foot massage design, and set of dimensions. You can compare models side by side using the comparison tool on our Massage Chairs collection page, or by opening the product pages for the chairs you are considering.
Massage chairs are designed to provide a relaxing, spa-style massage experience at home, and many people use them as part of a general wellness and relaxation routine. Massage chairs are not medical devices, and we do not claim that they diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, have an implanted device such as a pacemaker, or are unsure whether massage is appropriate for you, consult a qualified healthcare professional before use.
Some models include a memory feature that allows you to save a manually customized program. Check your model's product page or product manual to confirm whether this feature is available on your chair.
Contact our support team first. We will troubleshoot the issue with you and, if service is required, help coordinate with the manufacturer or an authorized service provider under the terms of your warranty. Service availability varies by location and by product.
On most models you can reduce the foot massage intensity by lowering the airbag pressure setting, turning off the foot rollers, or both. Refer to your product manual for the exact steps for your model.
We do not offer layaway or in-house monthly payment plans. If third-party financing is available for your order, it will be presented at checkout by the financing provider, and all approval decisions and terms are set by that provider. If you have questions about payment options, contact our support team.
Roller systems differ in how they move and how much depth control they offer. 3D, 4D, and similar systems generally allow adjustable roller depth and intensity, while dual-roller systems typically provide broader coverage with less depth adjustment. The best choice depends on your preferred massage style and intensity. Compare the roller specifications listed on each product page.
Pricing depends on the features a model includes, such as roller technology, body scanning, zero-gravity recline, and foot massage. Current pricing for every chair we carry is listed on its product page.
Consider the massage mechanism and roller technology, body scanning, available programs, reclining positions, heat, foot massage, and the space the chair requires. Check the dimensions and required clearance for your room before purchasing, and confirm the delivery method and any applicable charges shown on the product page and at checkout.
